Nice Product-Easy to Install : Moen 67315C Integra One-Handle Low Arc Pullout Kitchen Faucet, Chrome
It's easy to like this faucet when first installed. But after a while, two negatives stand out:
1. The pullout spray component fits into the main body of the faucet with a plastic-on-plastic contact. This would be OK for a stationary faucet, but this one swivels. If you turn it from one side of the sink to the other by applying sidewise force at the tip of the faucet, as one normally does, this produces a much larger force on the region of the plastic contact (through lever action) and the plastic contact inevitably deforms a little so that the contact becomes loose and wobbly and the spray component just comes out when you are simply trying to swivel it from left to tight. To avoid this, you have to swivel it by grabbing it at the base of the faucet, past the contact point -- but this is inconvenient and requires more force.
2. The top handle is badly designed. When you move it up for maximum water volume, it is almost completely vertical (unlike better designed models, where the handle is still at an angle to the vertical). If, while in this vertical (fully open) position, you want to change from cold to hot or vice versa, you cannot simply push sidewise -- it will not turn, as it is in a vertical position. You have to either grab it and twist it like a screw, or you have to lower it (reducing the water volume), turn it by pushing sidewise, then pull up again to increase water volume again.
So the early excitement with this product turned to disappointment.
